I know you've got to be careful charging batteries, to prevent thermal runaway, which is why Olympus camera batteries have four contacts rather than three - their chargers monitor the battery temperature to prevent problems. When I bought this charger, I wanted one that I knew would carry out this monitoring, so I bought this because it has the Duracell name on it, which I implicitly trust. The charger itself is great - everyone really should have one. It's fine charging batteries here at my desk with the proper Olympus one, but when you're travelling, or in a hotel room in Amsterdam, you do need a portable charger. It wasn't even too expensive!
